Ark Chamberlain Primary Academy will be closed for the half term holiday from Monday 19th February 2018 to Friday 23rd February 2018. The academy will be open to pupils as normal on Monday 26th February 2018. Have a peaceful and restful break.
Ark Chamberlain Primary is a non-selective, mixed, non-denominational junior school. We admit up to 150 Year 3 pupils each year in five forms of entry. Applications must be made on Birmingham City Council’s Common Application Form. You can find full details of how to apply on the council’s primary admissions pages on its website (www.birmingham.gov.uk) or you can apply online. If you need any help with the admissions process please give us a call.
When we admit pupils, we prioritise children with statements of special educational needs. Then, if our academy is oversubscribed, we offer places to children in the following order of priority:
- Looked after or previously looked after children.
- Children who will be attending the linked infant school at the time of application and will still be in attendance at the end of Year 2.
- Children with a brother or a sister already at the academy who will still be in attendance in September 2016.
- Children who live nearest the academy by straight line distance from their home to the main entrance.
The academy will keep a waiting list which is used to fill casual vacancies occurring if students leave during the year or withdraw from a place that has been offered.
