Pirates of the Currybean

After weeks of rehearsals Year VI finally ended their year with a bang, with their incredible performance of Pirates of the Currybean, a hilarious spoof of pirate life and life on open seas. The story tells the tale of the Perrywinkle family and their search for treasure and their long lost father, Stanley.  While the cast performed on stage, a musical chorus was provided by the rest of Year 6 who sang their hearts out for their adoring audience.

The cast all performed fantastically well, and this year we have been blessed with lots of acting and comedic talent. Sets and choreography were provided by the school arts department who did an amazing job of creating a real tropical feel here in the heart of Small Heath.  As teachers we are incredibly proud of the whole year group and in particular the members of the cast who worked so hard to put on this fantastic show.  A huge well done to everyone - there could not have been a better way to celebrate the end of their time here at Ark Chamberlain!
